I could never fully enjoy the holiday season. Mainly because my family is broken. I always put on this disguise that phases others, and somehow it always works. This time, it’s quite different. I’m glad I get to spend it with the women and men in my life, but just the fact that it doesn’t mean much to them. It takes away the joy of Christmas spirit.
